Our Team

Leon has dedicated his life to wildlife. He has guided and hunted in the Save Valley Conservancy since 1993. Leon manages Matendere Ranch, daily activities, and operates the safaris. His passion for wildlife began at an early age. Growing up in a farm environment, he grew up hunting and spending every bit of his spare time in the bush.

Judy manages the office whilst ensuring the camp runs smoothly and keeping an eye on the catering in your home away from home!

Adriaan has been part of our family and operation for many years. He has hunted with us since 2010 and his sharp wit and sense of humor keeps everyone entertained around the fireplace.

Riaan has grown up on Matendere and hunted it from a young age. After studying wildlife management he has come back and hunts all over the continent, including back home.

Stanford is Leon’s head tracker and an invaluable member of our team.

Luckmore’s keen eyes and infectious energy are always fun to have on the truck.

Confidence is Riaans head tracker. He is calm and steady and always dependable in the bush.
