The du Plessis family have been living and working on Matendere since 1993. They have had the privilege of watching the conservancy grow and being a part of protecting this exciting conservation area.
Leon duPlessis
Leon has dedicated his life to wildlife. He has guided and hunted in the Save Valley Conservancy since 1993. Leon manages Matendere Ranch, daily activities, and operates the safaris. His passion for wildlife began at an early age. Growing up in a farm environment, he grew up hunting and spending every bit of his spare time in the bush.

Judy manages the office whilst ensuring the camp runs smoothly and keeping an eye on the catering in your home away from home!
